Survival Fire Starter, 4 Inch Ferro Rod, Flint Fire Starters

2 Pack Ferro Rod Fire Starter Kit: Includes two complete sets, each with a 4-inch ferrocerium rod, a 6-in-1 scraper, a paracord lanyard and an emergency whistle. Keep one flint and steel fire starter set in your backpack and the other in your car or home emergency kit, or share one with a camping partner.
Reliable Sparks in Wet Weather: The ferrocerium rod generates sparks even after exposure to water, making it a useful backup in rain, snow and windy outdoor conditions. No lighter fuel or batteries required. Use with suitable dry tinder (not included), and shelter the tinder from wind and moisture when starting a fire.
Powerful Sparks for Outdoor Survival: Each rod produces at up to 5,500°F (3,000°C) and provides over 15,000 strikes for repeated use on camping, hiking, backpacking and bushcraft trips. Before first use, scrape away the protective coating from the striking area, then direct sparks onto prepared tinder.
